Athlete programmes - Our sponsorship support programs are designed to assist upcoming riders and teams into the world of sponsorship. Subora Surf Co.  sponsors athletes of all levels from the grassroots local level amateurs to national and world ranked athletes. We also love the “Underdog”, or the athlete “Who doesn’t fit in the box”. Subora Surf Co. has the vision, and dedication to put in the hard work to bring you great products that not only function, but look good, and this vision and dedication extends to the athletes we invest assistance to; Athletes who are hardworking and have the right attitude whilst they are competing, or just as important when they are not competing.

Being sponsored or being in a sponsorship arrangement is a big deal. The interests of all parties in the agreement need to be considered. It’s not just about getting free stuff or discounts, it goes much deeper then that. So before an athlete, team or event organizer hits up a potential sponsorship target, ask yourself what can I do for them, and what can they do for me? This is a two-way arrangement. It needs to be a win-win deal for both parties.

We have no cut-off deadlines for receiving applications for sponsorship deals... We are accepting sponsorships applications for surfing and bodyboarding, and events.

What We Look For -  Athletes/Teams 

Is there a mutual benefit to be gained? Does your style and values compliment the brand? What type of promotion can you offer?What following, and presence do you have on social media platforms? What events are you planning to attend in the next 12 months? Athlete background. What are you expecting from a sponsorship deal? What classification do you compete in? Details of rankings. How long have you been competing, location/base.

What We Look For - Events

Is there a mutual benefit to be gained? Does your event style and values compliment the brand? What type of promotion can you offer?What following, and presence does the event have on social media platforms? Event background. What are you expecting from a sponsorship deal? How many athletes are likely to compete, and how many spectators are you expecting to attend? What media will be in Attendance? What Pre and Post event promotion will be used? Location/base.

You are more then welcome to re-apply in the future as either your situation or our situation may have changed.
